I've been up to A LOT; got a new vehicle(have had to fix it), went camping for a week in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest and leaving again this Thursday for a three-week trip out west, building websites, developing websites, plug-ins, Apps and much much more…
One thing has not changed, too much, Noca and Isis. Noca and Isis are my two kitties. Noca is a tiger striped shorthair Tabby and Isis is a Norwegian Forest Cat.
Over the past 2 - 3 years I've come across these two cute little kitties being Extremely!! cute. So I've done what every cat owner in the modern world does when they have cute kitties lying around. I took pictures ;) and thought I would share! Enjoy!

Biesemeyer Jet Boat
1978 21 foot Biesemeyer Jet Boat (Factory Built by: Beisemeyer in Phoenix, AZ )
Big Block Jet Boat. Clean, and in perfect working order. This boat is fast for a 1978 hot rod on the water. Very cool, and turns heads even when it's on the trailer.
Over the weekend (okay every weekend) I stopped down at our local farmers market, here in West Bend Wisconsin and visited with a good friend of mine, Starla, who creates and sells her own gourmet seasoning and dip mixes.
And I thought to share some of my favorites with you, so you would have the chance to share them with others, whether you need a dip mix for a party or are looking for a gift for a friend. Her dips are sure to please!
Not only are these dip mixes great tasting but there also easy to prepare. Directions for each dip are printed right on the back of the package. Most dips can be made by combining 1 package of seasoning with 1 1/3 cup sour cream(or Buttermilk) and 2/3 cup Mayonnaise, or for the sweet dips you can combine 1 package of seasoning with 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese and 1 (8 ounce) container of whipped topping. And these aren't just for dips, you can add them to almost anything!
The Downtown West Bend Farmers' Market, brought to you by the Downtown West Bend Association, features over 65 vendors and is one of the largest markets in Southeastern Wisconsin.
The market is located in the heart of Downtown West Bend and runs for 23 weeks each year; May 24th through October 25th. The hours are 7:30 am - 11:00 am.
There are a wide variety of vendors featuring produce, fruits, meats, eggs, maple syrup, bakery items, spices, soaps, herbal products, prepared foods and more.
My 3 Favorite Dips
There is a number of other dip mixes that are just as pleasing, such as their bestseller 'Grandma's Garden', 'Cheesy Bacon Ranch' and 'Glorious Garlic' to name a few. So be sure to visit ilovedip.com or visit the store at shop.ilovedip.com
I recently went camping at Tower Hill State Park, which is located in Sauk County, near Spring Green, Wisconsin. And I thought it might be nice to share some of the history and photos from my trip.
Spring Green, and Tower Hill State Park are located on the banks of the Wisconsin River, west of Madison Wisconsin. Spring Green is a small town with only about 1,622 residents. While it is a small community, there are a number of things to see while you are there.
Tower Hill State Park has some interesting history behind it. Twenty-Two years before Wisconsin became a state, the discovery of the vast lead deposit brought a population boom to this area. A Green Bay merchant, Daniel Whitney, organized the Wisconsin shot company to build a 'Shot Tower' on this site. T. B. Shaunce dug out a 120 foot shaft with a pick and gad, then removed the earth using buckets. Once completed, they built a 60 foot tower along the cliffs of the sandstone, on top of the 120 foot shaft, where they then built a smelting house to melt down the lead ore that was used to manufacture the lead shot. To create the lead shot, they would pour molten lead from a ladle with holes which would then drop the 180 feet to the bottom of the shaft where it was caught by a water basin to break the fall and finish cooling the lead. The surface tension of the liquid as it fell through the air would turn this molten lead into pellets(the lead shot).
While I was here I visited the Spring Green Preserve State Natural Area. The Spring Green Preserve is known as the 'Wisconsin Desert'. There are a number of species that can be found here such as the Six-Lined Racerunner and Blue Racer, Venus' Looking Glass, False Heather and the Prickly Pear Cactus. And who knew, cacti do grow in Wisconsin!
One of the other interesting sites to see here is the Taliesin. Frank Lloyd Wright built his Wisconsin home, Taliesin, just outside Spring Green in the early 1900s.
