Did you know: Crayola and schools across North America are banding together to help kids understand the importance of their role in protecting the environment. Through this initiative, students in K-12 schools across the continental United States and parts of Canada can collect and re-purpose used Crayola markers.
What More: Crayola ColorCycle will accept all brands of plastic markers, not just Crayola markers. That includes dry erase markers and highlighters! ColorCycle will eliminate placing hundreds of tons of markers into landfills.
Who can participate: Any school, kindergarten through 12th grade in the contiguous 48 United States (excludes Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico) and some areas in Canada can participate.
*If you are not a teacher/school, or part of a school, you can contact your local school and if they are already participating, you can drop off your used markers there. If your local school is not participating, encourage them to do so by visiting www.crayola.com/colorcycle.
How do I get a program started at my school?
It is easy to do! Just visit their registration page to sign up or log-in and get started!

With Kat's permission, I am giving away my collection of Kat Boelskov Ringtones.
I could never find ringtones that I really liked. Either they weren't the right part of the song, they weren't long enough or they just didn't exist! So decided it was time to make my own!
I love Kat's music, and have all three of her albums. If you like what you hear, but you don't own any of her music yet, you can purchase them here: https://katboelskov.bandcamp.com/

Where in the world can you find cheap domain names? Is it really important? Did you really buy a domain for $0.99 OR is that a bate-and-switch tactic? A TRUE value for a domain isn't necessarily based on price alone, and let me tell you why...
What to look for
There are a few things that you should keep in mind, when you are planning to purchase a domain. I could elaborate on each of these, but will try to keep it short.
Unfortunately, most domain registrars make it hard to figure out exactly what their fees are up front. For example, some domain registrars will charge you a low introductory price, but your renewal price will be much higher or they will increase prices the following year. Some wont show you a price until you have logged in and or created an account. Or, they charge an additional fee of $9.99 for WHOIS Privacy but they don't tell you that up front. Some even charge for access to the domain's DNS settings, so you have to pay to point it elsewhere. They will frequently advertise one price, but by the time you add in all these other fees or 'pricing add-ons' as some would say, you end up being nickel-and-dimed to death!
Oh, and be aware of Resellers... They are literally charging you more (more times than not) for the same domain if you would have purchased it through the registrar they use to register the domain. There are over 1000 Accredited Domain Registrars in the world(accredited by ICANN), as for resellers there only that many more x10, I'm sure! So, beware.
If you host your domain where you manage the domain's website you may not care if you pay an additional $3.00 or $5.00 as long as you have access to features you need and you can manage the domain and website in the same account under one login. But in the long run, or with multiple domains, you are only wasting money if you are paying double or triple what you could be paying to register your domain.
I personally have moved away from using Register.com, Godaddy and I'm even in the process of moving away from Google Domains for managing the 20+ domains I own. My choice, and go to, is Namesilo. Take a look at their Pricing/Comparison page. $8.99 for .com domain registrations and they provide FREE WHOIS Privacy (Renewals are $8.99 as well). Nothing against Google, at $12 a year, but $3 x 20 = $60 in savings every year and my collection of domains is only growing!
$8.99 a year!.. Want better?
You can use one of the coupon codes below, to get an additional $1.00 off.
**If you have a domain, a domain you registered more than 60 days ago, and you want to transfer your domain to Namesilo, no problem, you can take advantage of the coupon as well.
In the end, no matter what registrar you choose, make sure that you read the fine print and know what you are getting into, so you don't end up regretting it later.
If you had a domain name that you have lost, that has recently expired or you are trying to scoop up before anyone else is able to purchase it, and you are afraid that you are going to lose out on the opportunity to get it, please contact me as soon as possible and I might be able to grab it for you!
Have you ever forgot to renew your domain registration, and didn't realize that it was expired until it was too late to get it back? If so, you can certainly understand how frustrating that can be! And on top of that, trying to purchase the domain, once it does become available for purchase again, before somebody else purchases it, can be next to impossible!
Unfortunately, I have seen too many times where the domain was 'caught' by a domain broker, that in essence holds the domain hostage for a large ransom amount. If you're lucky, they'll only be asking for a few hundred dollars (if you can consider that lucky).
If the domain was registered for multiple years prior to its expiration date, or there is a high volume of traffic and value to the domain, the cost will likely be in the tens of thousands (that's $10,000.00 +). When a large corporation loses their domain it could cost millions of dollars!
These Domain Brokers watch for domains that have expired and are in the pendingDelete state. The pendingDelete status tells them that the domain is about to be released and will become available within a few days.
Here's an example of a domain that is for sale, from a domain broker,
that is holding one of my personal friends domains hostage.
It's been this way for a few years now, and it wasn't a big company.
So how do you know if a domain is "pending renewal deletion"?
You can use this service to check the Status:
Note that, the Status of the domain registration should be "pendingDelete"
(as shown in the screenshot above)
*I will not hold the domain hostage(available in writing)
*There would be a 60 day waiting period before it can be transferred directly to you(per ICANN Rules)
*This would require a small, nonrefundable, fee
I should also note, that if I successfully purchase the domain for you we can certainly get it pointed in the right direction, so the domain can be used by you, until it can be transferred directly to you.
You might ask;
Well Jeff, why are you doing this for people?
It's simple! I do not like to see ANYONE being taken advantage of.
I enjoy helping people and businesses who are in need, immensely!
Jeff, how are you able to do this?
I have a little secret, that I am not at liberty to share with you. Sorry!
If you have any questions, or you would like to get started, please contact me today!
I've been up to A LOT; got a new vehicle(have had to fix it), went camping for a week in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest and leaving again this Thursday for a three-week trip out west, building websites, developing websites, plug-ins, Apps and much much more…
One thing has not changed, too much, Noca and Isis. Noca and Isis are my two kitties. Noca is a tiger striped shorthair Tabby and Isis is a Norwegian Forest Cat.
Over the past 2 - 3 years I've come across these two cute little kitties being Extremely!! cute. So I've done what every cat owner in the modern world does when they have cute kitties lying around. I took pictures ;) and thought I would share! Enjoy!
