The new Weebly Button Element allows you to drag a ‘call to action’ button anywhere on your site, including your blog sidebar and custom content areas.

The first set of instructions is the basic set up for using the new button element. There are various uses; moreover it’s a more presentable way to link, an upgrade from only being able to link text or an image of a button.

The second set of instructions are how to use the  Weebly’s Button Element  to create a product ‘Buy Now’ or ‘Add To Cart’ button.

If you are interested in learning how to use Weebly’s Button Element for selling your products, I have also set up step by step instructions for you.

You can link the buttons to multiple things.

The following example, the button called ‘FINISH’ is one of the uses for the button. I have linked it to a hidden page on my website.  This could be the last in a series of buttons, to finish a guided tour?

Hey Brenda, it sounds like you are referring to the button embedded in the landing page – page type(it has an image on one side, text and a button on the other side)

There isn’t a way to remove that button, without making customizations to the theme you are using.

The button element I am referring in these instructions are for an element you drag to the page, those buttons can be deleted like the other elements, by clicking the red X.

So if you are referring to the page type, you have two options, choose a different page type, or make custom changes to the theme. If you want I could make the title/text/button area of the landing page type an area you can drag elements to. This would require a few changes that I can take care of for you.

If you would like help, feel free to send me a service request.
